Most problems have an answer on your order page, because BuyAve records what actually happened at each step. If yours does not, write to us.

Include your order number if you have one — it is on the order page and in every email about it.

You paid and something is wrong

Your money is not with the seller yet. BuyAve releases payment only after the handover is evidenced — a pickup code redeemed, or a carrier delivery recorded — and your order page shows which of those has happened.

Open the order and read the current step. If the handover never happened, say so in a message to the seller first: most of these resolve in the conversation, and the thread becomes part of the record if it does not.

A pickup went wrong

A pickup completes when the seller enters or scans your one-time code. If you met and the code was never redeemed, the handover is not recorded and your payment has not been released.

Never share your pickup code before you have the item in your hands. It is the proof, not a formality.

A parcel is late or missing

Delivery is confirmed by the carrier’s scan, not by either party saying so. Tracking is on the order page. A parcel that has not been scanned as delivered has not released the seller’s payment.

Your account

Sign-in, your password and account recovery are handled by our identity provider — BuyAve never sees a password. You can close your account from your account settings, which erases your profile and leaves the transaction records both parties and the law require.
